My letter to the Powerball Lottery Winners

Dear Powerball lottery winners,

Hi there. My name is Al. First and foremost, congratulations. Your life will never be the same.

I’m not poor, and I’m not rich. And I don’t want your money. I just want you to think about all that money you have and what you could do with that.

For starters, do something you’ve always wanted to do (except hunt game – that’s just dumb).

Charter a private jet to take you and your spouse somewhere for a romantic weekend getaway.

Pay off your mortgage. Already paid off? Pay off a random strangers – how fricken cool would that be?

Invest some of it in gold and silver.

Give some to family.

Donate some.

You’re going to have a lot of money, and a lot of new friends. Hopefully you’re a down to earth person that understands the concept of “easy come – easy go”. So enjoy your moment.

But please…

Don’t get carried away buying a bunch of stuff. Stuff will only make you temporarily happy. Spend it on some experiences you’ll remember forever. And take pictures along the way.

Now go sell all your stuff!
